I had so much fun at the Boys and Girls Club today - just had to take a picture of this proud little boy who finished his money smart worksheet with a big smile on his face!! So much we all can do to inspire these children to work hard and dream big! My constant message to them. All of these children deserve every chance that other children have to reach their full potential. I just love them so much!
To whom much is given, much will be required (Luke 12:48) If we are blessed with talents, wealth, knowledge, time and the like, it is expected that we use these well to glorify God and benefit others. My mother’s experience of becoming homeless at the age of 67 provided me with a gift of knowledge that I am using to Champion the cause to break the generational cycle of financial illiteracy! By making "Money Smart Kids" and Raising up a Generation of Savers 1 Generation at a time!
Championing the cause to break the generational cylce of financial illiteracy!

Hello! I am blessed to be an International Spokesperson for the Savings Fund a Non-Profit created by the National Financial Educators Council which provides financial education, resources and tools to over 22 countries. With their support I am bringing my Big Yellow Umbrella Campaign across the Globe to the Boys and Girls Clubs of America! My mother taught me that everybody needs a Big Yellow Umbrella for their rainy day! As a Financial Literacy Volunteer Teacher for the Boys and Girls Club of America it is my honor to donate and teach my Money Smart Kid Tool Box to the children in the Clubs knowing that when you Invest in a Child. You Inspire a Future!

Today at the Boy's and Girl's Club the children were making their save-share-spend envelopes. During our lesson I told the children to make sure and show their parents their saving system envelopes! One little girl said sadly but my mom can only read spanish. I am so happy to be able to send home my money smart tool kit for parents in spanish for her but the sweetest part was she wrote the spanish word for spend on her envelope to share with her mom. MADE MY WEEK!!!
