It was an honor to represent Wisconsin at the Mrs. International Pageant for anyone who knows me you know one thing for sure my love of the journey of pageants runs very deep. It has been through the journey of preparing to compete and competing in pageants that has made me the person I am today. Pageants are not easy they take deep committment and dedication to getting to know yourself which include knowing your beliefs, values, dreams and passions in life! My platform and work in life is to increase awarness about the need for greater financial education in our world. I can not sit by generation after generation knowing we as a whole are financially illiterate. All of the ramifications we see which are wide reaching can be changed by educating ourselves financially and passing good money skills down to our children. I am not perfect and I humbly share my mistakes and my families in order to open up the conversation and from there I teach. I spend my time teaching women, families your children and mine good money skills so all of us can have a life where we hopefully can avoid financial mistakes which can take years to repair. My love of my work for my platform continues and it is my prayer that my journey in pageants can also continue. My supporters make this happen and I want to thank each one of you for your passion for financial education and your belief that we can change the facts that exsist and make our world one where everyone is -- Financially Literate!
To whom much is given, much will be required (Luke 12:48) If we are blessed with talents, wealth, knowledge, time and the like, it is expected that we use these well to glorify God and benefit others. My mother’s experience of becoming homeless at the age of 67 provided me with a gift of knowledge that I am using to Champion the cause to break the generational cycle of financial illiteracy! By making "Money Smart Kids" and Raising up a Generation of Savers 1 Generation at a time!
