Championing the cause to break the generational cylce of financial illiteracy!

Hello! I am blessed to be an International Spokesperson for the Savings Fund a Non-Profit created by the National Financial Educators Council which provides financial education, resources and tools to over 22 countries. With their support I am bringing my Big Yellow Umbrella Campaign across the Globe to the Boys and Girls Clubs of America! My mother taught me that everybody needs a Big Yellow Umbrella for their rainy day! As a Financial Literacy Volunteer Teacher for the Boys and Girls Club of America it is my honor to donate and teach my Money Smart Kid Tool Box to the children in the Clubs knowing that when you Invest in a Child. You Inspire a Future!

It was my honor to be a Judge for the Miss Amazing Pageant last Saturday! There were 20 amazing beautiful young ladies and I was truly blessed by them! The Pageant Celebrates the abilities of girls and women with disabilities. I can only say that if you are looking for a hero, role model or hope and encouragment look to them! Why making our kids money smart is critical!

56% of Americans have NO Savings and 38 Million People have NO retirement savings and the next generation their children are not being raised to save. We have to break this cycle and MAKE financial education a top priority for our children. Just as we believe Education is the right of every child so do I believe Financial Education should be. NO matter if a child lives in poverty or wealth financial education should not be with held! What good is an education that leads to a job if we do not have good money skills and end up harming ourselves financially. Parents be a Champion for your child by teaching them good money skills.
