Championing the cause to break the generational cylce of financial illiteracy!
Hello! I am blessed to be an International Spokesperson for the Savings Fund a Non-Profit created by the National Financial Educators Council which provides financial education, resources and tools to over 22 countries. With their support I am bringing my Big Yellow Umbrella Campaign across the Globe to the Boys and Girls Clubs of America! My mother taught me that everybody needs a Big Yellow Umbrella for their rainy day! As a Financial Literacy Volunteer Teacher for the Boys and Girls Club of America it is my honor to donate and teach my Money Smart Kid Tool Box to the children in the Clubs knowing that when you Invest in a Child. You Inspire a Future!

Lucille O'Neal - Boys & Girls Clubs of America's Alumni Hall of Fame

Many people do not realize that the Boys and Girls Club has a 20 year partnership with the Military. With Clubs on US and International Military Bases! I love and admire this organization so much! Every child deserves a safe place to go after school and the life skills they need to be successful in life! We need many volunteers to help us in our mission to give children who grow up in poverty every opportunity to be successful in life!

My Money Smart Kid Tool Box Book for Parents and Children is published!!! I am so excited to offer my Tool Box Lessons in book form for parents to use with their children. Parents are always saying to me I don't know how or what to teach my children about money  - This book will give you the tools to do just that. I created my tool box lessons for the children at the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. The tools in this book are for every child no matter if a child is from a family living in poverty or one that is wealthy. Financial education should be taught to every child! Contact me at Jayne.Black@gmail.com if you would like a copy.

It was Graduation day for the children at the Boys and Girls Club!  Here is a picture of just some of the amazing second graders who completed all of my Money Smart Tool Box Kit Lessons! They were thrilled to take home their Money Smart Kits to their parents which will provide them with the tools they need to reinforce the lessons they learned. They also loved their little piggy banks which were provided by 1st National Bank in Wisconsin. I saw big changes in the way these children talk about money and when I did their post tests I was thrilled to see their money skills had grown! When I first starting teaching these children their attitudes about money were pretty negative they saw it as something they did not have which is very sad. Today these children are hopeful for a good future they love to talk about money and they love to tell you what they learned and what they will do with the money they earn and receive. I am blessed to have spent each week with them it means the world to me!
